Tour through the Gothic Quarter

The heart of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter is the Plaça de Sant Jaume, which dates back to the times of Roman rule in Spain. This was the Roman forum, and marked the junction of two main streets, "Cardus" (known today as Carrer Bisbe and Carrer de la Ciutat) and "Decumanus", (known today as Carrer de Llibreteria and Carrer del Call).

A walk through the Gothic Quarter is literally a journey back through the history of Barcelona. Why would you miss it?
