Shopping in Barcelona is undoubtedly a pleasure. The city’s shopping areas are easy to identify. Simply follow the famous Barcelona Shopping Line (5 Km).
The main areas of this line include Passeig de Gràcia (just next to the hotel), Rambla de Catalunya, Carrer Pelayo and Rda. Universitat, Les Rambles, Plaça Catalunya (where the El Corte Inglés department store is located), the streets Portal del Angel, Santa Anna, Porta Ferrissa and Pi, where small, unique and original shops abound. What’s more, the entire stretch of Avda Diagonal, from Passeig de Gràcia to Plaça Francesc Macià, is lined with countless different shops where you can purchase all sorts of clothing and decorative objects.

In Barcelona, shops are usually open Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm and in the afternoon/evening from 4:00 to 8:00 or 9:00 pm (some shops do not close at midday). On Saturdays, shops are generally open from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm (in the city centre, the shops also open in the afternoon/evening, from 4:00 to 8:00 or 9:00 pm and are closed on Sundays).
